Job summary

Super Group International is seeking a Payroll Governance and Transformation Specialist to drive end-to-end payroll accuracy, governance, and automation across multiple jurisdictions. You will own the payroll controls framework, oversee reconciliations, and partner with HR and Finance to optimise processes.

You will apply SOX controls, ensure data protection, and deliver analytics through Power BI to senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating payroll controls in a SOX/internal-control environment.
• Knowledge of POPIA/GDPR data protection requirements.
• Experience with payroll reconciliation and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with dashboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and accuracy for salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll controls framework and governance across entities.
• Lead automation and analytics initiatives using Power BI and RPA tools.
• Coordinate SOX/internal-control activities and liaise with internal/external audits.
• Ensure data protection compliance and access management for payroll systems.
