Job summary

Jackie Cory Recruitment seeks a detail-oriented Patient Administration Manager in Cape Town to lead revenue-cycle, case management and tariff governance. The role requires strong Excel skills, 5+ years in private healthcare administration, and supervisory experience.

You will oversee credit control, case management teams and monthly reporting, driving standardization and continuous improvement across the department to support strategic decisions by the Head: Administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' supervisory or management experience.
• Minimum 5 years' private healthcare administration, revenue cycle, case management, credit control, or a related function.
• Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Management or related field.
• Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Sound knowledge of private healthcare revenue-cycle processes, medical scheme and funder rules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly tariff analysis and support annual tariff implementation and negotiations.
• Drive standardization, governance, accountability and continuous improvement across areas of responsibility.
• Ensure effective case management processes, including authorizations, funder compliance and accurate documentation.
• Lead and support the Team Leaders responsible for Credit Control and Case Management.
• Monitor operational performance, departmental targets, escalations and key revenue-cycle risks.
• Oversee debtor performance, collections, age analysis and month-end debtors reporting.
• Prepare accurate reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making by the Head: Administration.
