Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Patient Administration Manager for a Cape Town based role with a hybrid work model. You will lead Team Leaders in Credit Control and Case Management, monitoring performance and revenue risks to ensure optimal cash flow.

Responsibilities include debtor oversight, reporting, funder compliance and tariff analysis to support negotiations. Report to Head: Administration and Champion governance and continuous improvement across departments.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent with a relevant healthcare qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in private healthcare administration.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory or management experience.
• Solid knowledge of private healthcare revenue cycle processes and funder requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Team Leaders responsible for Credit Control and Case Management.
• Monitor operational performance, departmental targets, escalations and revenue cycle risks.
• Oversee debtor performance, collections, age analysis and month-end debtor reporting.
• Ensure effective case management processes, including authorisations and funder compliance.
• Conduct monthly tariff analyses and support tariff implementation and negotiations.
• Prepare accurate reports and provide insights to support strategic decisions by Head: Administration.
• Drive standardisation, governance, accountability and continuous improvement across all areas.
