We are looking for an experienced Parts Manager to oversee our parts department at our Vereeniging dealership.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automotive parts, proven panel sales experience, and a track record of managing stock, suppliers, and customer relationships.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive sales, optimize operations, and ensure excellent service to workshops, panel beaters, and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of automotive parts.
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring availability while controlling costs and minimizing obsolescence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with panel beaters, workshops, and dealerships to grow sales.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Implement and monitor sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers and sales staff on automotive parts.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing, stock records, and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and train staff to maximize efficiency, service standards, and product knowledge.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales, performance, and market trends.
  • Uphold a high level of customer service and resolve queries effectively.
Requirements
