The IIE Varsity College, Online Centre, is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor for Early Childhood Experience.

Job Purpose:

The supervisor will observe student teachers studying for the Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education. The supervisor is required to visit each student at a designated ECD centre once, observing a single lesson in the 2-4 years age group. The role includes providing developmental feedback and supporting the student teacher during a 3-week ECD-based work-integrated learning period.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education specializing in Early Childhood Development (ECD)/Foundation Phase OR Postgraduate Certificate in ECD/Foundation Phase, with the undergraduate or postgraduate qualification including a focus on Early Childhood Teaching or Foundation Phase Teaching.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 years of teaching experience in the Foundation Phase or Early Childhood Education, with experience supervising students.
