About the Role

Our client is seeking passionate and experienced Outdoor Adventure Guides to lead exciting excursions and activities for their clients. This fully remote role focuses on planning, guiding, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants on various outdoor adventures. You will be responsible for curating memorable experiences, providing expert knowledge of the local environment, and managing all aspects of the adventure from preparation to execution, all while operating within the Leisure & Sports sector. The ideal candidate is an expert in outdoor activities, holds relevant certifications, and excels at creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for remote clients or through remote coordination of field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of outdoor adventure activities (e.g., hiking, cycling, water sports).
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Provide expert interpretation of the local natural environment, including flora, fauna, and geology.
• Manage all necessary equipment and resources for each adventure, ensuring they are in good condition.
• Deliver engaging and informative briefings to participants before and during activities.
• Handle any emergency situations calmly and effectively, implementing pre-defined protocols.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Outdoor Adventure Guide or similar role.
• Current certifications in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and relevant activity-specific certifications (e.g., kayaking, climbing).
• In-depth knowledge of outdoor survival skills, navigation, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage logistics effectively.
• Passion for the outdoors and sharing knowledge with others.
