About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced and certified Outdoor Adventure Guides to lead remote expeditions and facilitate virtual adventure experiences, working entirely remotely from Upington or any approved location. This role involves the planning, coordination, and delivery of thrilling outdoor adventures, adapted for virtual participation and supported by cutting-edge technology. You will guide participants through challenging terrains and activities, leveraging digital platforms to ensure an immersive and safe experience. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and safely lead remote adventure expeditions, incorporating virtual engagement elements.
• Utilize and troubleshoot technology platforms for live streaming, communication, and participant interaction during virtual expeditions.

Requirements

• Current certifications in Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or equivalent advanced first aid and CPR.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience guiding multi-day remote expeditions (e.g., trekking, climbing, rafting).
• Proven experience in remote leadership and managing groups in challenging environments.
• Excellent technological proficiency, including experience with live streaming equipment and virtual communication tools.
• Strong navigational skills, knowledge of wilderness survival, and environmental stewardship principles.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
