About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced and certified Outdoor Adventure Guides to lead exciting excursions in and around Mossel Bay . This role involves guiding groups through various outdoor activities, ensuring their safety, enjoyment, and providing insightful information about the natural environment. You will be an ambassador for the region's adventure tourism, responsible for managing group dynamics, providing expert instruction, and creating unforgettable experiences for local and international visitors in the Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead guided tours and activities such as hiking, cycling, kayaking, and potentially more specialized adventures.
• Prioritize and ensure the safety of all participants, conducting pre-trip safety briefings and risk assessments.
• Provide engaging commentary on local flora, fauna, history, and geology relevant to the tour area.
• Manage group logistics, including equipment checks, route planning, and timing.
• Respond effectively to any medical or emergency situations that may arise during an excursion.
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, fostering a fun and memorable experience for guests.

Requirements

• Current certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR are essential.
