The Operations Manager Rental plays a vital strategic and operational leadership role within Netstar. This position is directly responsible for driving operational excellence, end-to-end service delivery, and strategic cross-functional alignment across all commercial rental segments including Rent-to-Own, Car Rental, Truck Rental, Van Rental, Trailer Rental, Golf Cart Rental, and Motorbike Rental.

Required Tasks: Field Operations & Fleet Lifecycle: Directs scheduling, resource planning, and field execution for device installations, de-installations, and transfers across all asset categories (passenger vehicles, commercial fleets, bikes, trailers, and specialized machinery). Oversees rapid turnarounds for de-fleeting and re-fleeting to minimize revenue loss and fleet downtime.

Billing Governance & Revenue Assurance: Audits active versus inactive rental registers to eliminate billing leakage. Ensures immediate billing activation upon vehicle onboarding, promptly stops billing on decommissioned or written-off units, and resolves billing disputes alongside Finance.

Platform Reliability & SLA Delivery: Partners with IT and Engineering to safeguard 99% availability across client telematics portals and apps. Serves as the primary operational escalation point for strategic rental clients, tracking SLA adherence and hosting regular operational performance reviews.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Operations Management, Business Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 7–10 years of progressive operational management experience, preferably within telematics, fleet management, logistics, or automotive rental environments.

Track Record: Proven success managing large-scale asset tracking, device fitment operations, and high-volume billing governance.

Technical Aptitude: Deep working knowledge of telematics platforms, hardware/firmware ecosystems, asset tracking systems, and SLA management tools.
