Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience focused on operations excellence or process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is essential.
• Proven track record of leading projects with measurable operational improvements.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in Soweto or nearby operational environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of operations excellence projects with focus on process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, objectives, KPIs and resource allocation.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with departmental managers and teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Monitor progress, track metrics and report on realized benefits from initiatives.
• Ensure sustainability of changes and provide training and support to operations teams.
