Job summary

Placements24 in Bloemfontein seeks an Operations Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement across operations. The role focuses on applying Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, while fostering a culture of improvement.

You will lead cross-functional projects, develop SOPs, train staff, and report outcomes to leadership. A Bachelor's degree and six years' experience with Lean Six Sigma are expected; Black/ Master Black Belt preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
• 6+ years in operations management or process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and change management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement SOPs for consistency and quality.
• Train and mentor staff on operational excellence.
• Manage cross-functional projects to boost performance and reduce waste.
• Report progress and impact to senior management.
