Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Operations Analyst to join our operations team. This role will involve working closely with the Operations Manager to support and enhance operational and administrative processes, monitor business performance, and manage financial and risk-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational and Administrative Processes: Assist in managing day-to-day operational activities, including streamlining administrative workflows and ensuring efficient business processes.
- Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse business performance metrics and KPIs. Prepare reports and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify opportunities for process optimisation and contribute to the development and implementation of improvement initiatives.
- Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, preparing information for and/or drafting management reports, leads management, and maintaining accurate records. Assist in coordinating inter-departmental communications.
- Project Assistance: Support projects and initiatives as assigned, providing operational insights and assisting with project execution and monitoring.
- Financial Management: Support financial activities including budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Risk Management: Help identify potential operational risks and assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Marketing and Sales related functions: Assist with creating content for marketing and sales initiatives, proofreading marketing communications, conducting market research, and related recordkeeping activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or a three-year qualification, in Commerce, Business Administration, Compliance, Law, Risk Management, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, senior administrative support, or a related role, with exposure to project management, data analysis and risk management activities.
- Working knowledge of the operations of a professional services company, including risk management, compliance management, etc.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of the financial services’ regulatory environment, compliance guidelines, standards, and legislation.
Skills requirements
- Non-Negotiable: Strong organisational skills, analytical capabilities, proficiency in data analysis and risk management.
- Non-Negotiable: Advanced Data and Computer Literacy. Including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI), the ability to understand digital tools, critically evaluate online information, and effectively communicate in the digital space.
