Job summary

ER24 Western Cape - West Milnerton, Cape Town is recruiting for an Emergency Medical Care professional. The role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care with leadership within the ER24 operational framework.

The candidate will oversee emergency call readiness, apply HPCSA guidelines, and contribute to a positive public image while handling basic shift administration.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Bachelors of Technology (Btech) Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor Emergency Medical Care.
• DESIRED EDUCATION: Training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines by HPCSA is advantageous; probation training may be required.
• ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience.
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous EMS Operational experience.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To deliver excellent critical care within the operational environment based on sound clinical judgment, current evidence, and to display clinical leadership with ER24.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Bachelors of Technology (Btech) Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor Emergency Medical Care

DESIRED EDUCATION: Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Newly qualified ECP / Operational EMS experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous EMS Operational experience
