Job summary

Mediclinic Centurion in Gauteng seeks an Operational Emergency Care Practitioner to deliver high-quality critical care within an emergency operations environment. You will lead clinical decisions, supervise shift activities, and ensure readiness for emergency calls in collaboration with ER24.

The role emphasizes adherence to HPCSA guidelines, English proficiency, and strong teamwork; prior EMS operational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Btech in Emergency Medical Care or Bachelor in Emergency Medical Care.
• Completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines from HPCSA will be advantageous.
• If not compliant, probation training may be required after successful application.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure operational readiness for emergency calls.
• Administer patient care in line with scope of practice.
• Market and maintain a positive public image for ER24.
• Provide basic shift administration services.
