Mediclinic invites applications for an emergency medical responder role to attend to emergency calls and provide basic medical care within the scope of practice. You will support operational readiness, assist on-site EMS activities, and uphold professional standards in line with HPCSA guidelines.
The position requires Basic Ambulance Assistant certification, 6 months to 1 year road BLS experience, and strong English communication. Training and probationary periods apply where required.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Basic Ambulance Assistant Certificate
DESIRED EDUCATION: Successful completion of training related to Clinical Practice Guidelines published by the Health Professions Council of South Africa will be advantageous. If not compliant with the clinical practice guidelines at the time of application you will be required to complete this training during your probation period if successful in your application.
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 6 months – 1-year road BLS experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years road BLS experience
