Medipost in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks a qualified pharmacist to ensure patient safety in chemotherapy compounding and to maintain compliance with GPP and regulatory standards. You will review bookings, manage stock, and support clinical trial processes, with overtime as needed.
The candidate must be SAPC-registered with at least 2 years of pharmacy experience and a solid understanding of the Pharmacy Act. Training on Medipost systems (MHRS, ESS) will be provided.
The primary purpose of the job is to provide proper patient care as per GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice) regulations.Chemo-specific compounding guidelines ad hoc for pharmacists with relevant SOP/Policy.Reviewing patient booking lists and confirming treatment on hand for compounding.
Minimum 2 years as a pharmacist, including internship and community service
Completed admixture course
Completed Good Clinical Practice course
Clinical trial experience
Need to be registered at SAPC
Sound knowledge of the Pharmacy Act
Medipost APP system training, SLA training, company policies and procedures, computer literacy. MHRS on-line authorisation system, ESS, etc.
