Job summary

Crew Life at Sea Ltd. is seeking Refrigeration Engineers to maintain and inspect onboard refrigeration and air conditioning systems on our cruise ships. You will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and ensure safety and environmental compliance across all systems.

Role requires hands-on expertise, strong teamwork, and the ability to train junior staff while coordinating with the Chief Engineer and crew for smooth operations at sea.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Refrigeration Engineer onboard a vessel.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on refrigeration and air conditioning systems onboard the cruise ship.
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the equipment.
• Monitor and record system performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with ordering and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Train and supervise junior engineering staff in the operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
• Communicate effectively with the Chief Engineer and other crew members for smooth operation onboard.
