Placements24 seeks an Electrical Engineer to oversee and optimize industrial maintenance operations at a large manufacturing site in Nelspruit. You will implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, troubleshoot electrical faults, and lead upgrades to safety and reliability.

This on-site role requires hands-on expertise with PLCs, VFDs and control systems, plus the ability to work under pressure in a busy plant.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsabilidades

• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for plant electrical equipment.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns, diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Oversee electrical installation and modification projects with safety in mind.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime.
