Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Management Consultant with a focus on Financial Performance Improvement to join their Upington team in the Northern Cape. This in-office role requires strong client relationships and collaboration with finance leadership to diagnose issues and drive tangible financial gains.

You will analyze financial statements, develop strategies, and lead engagements that optimize processes and controls, delivering value through budgeting, forecasting, and capital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualification (e.g., CA, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, financial consulting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in improving financial performance, cost management, or profitability enhancement.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an office-based, collaborative team environment.
• Experience with FP&A tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial statements, operational metrics, and performance data.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Advise clients on capital allocation, investment strategies, and financial risk management.
