Job summary

Placements24 partners with a client in Port Elizabeth to recruit a Financial Management Consultant. The role focuses on optimizing financial performance, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning to drive profitability and sustainable growth.

You will collaborate with finance departments and executives to enhance controls, implement robust FP&A capabilities, and deliver data-driven financial insights through modeling and scenario planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, corporate finance, or financial consulting.
• Proven expertise in FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Develop and implement strategies for working capital management, cost reduction, and cash flow optimization.
• Advise on financial risk management, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist clients in developing robust FP&A capabilities, including financial modeling and scenario planning.
• Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by providing financial due diligence and integration services.
• Recommend and implement financial systems and technologies to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
