Placements24 is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Financial Performance Improvement practice in Randburg, Gauteng. The role focuses on diagnosing financial health, developing strategic solutions, and implementing operational and financial changes for clients.

You will work directly with client finance teams, lead profitability and cost-reduction initiatives, and mentor junior staff. Strong analytical skills and deep financial modeling experience are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is desirable.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, management consulting, corporate finance, or related area.
• Proven experience in financial performance improvement, cost management, or financial transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and ERP systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects aimed at improving financial performance, including profitability enhancement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability studies.
• Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Assist clients in optimizing financial processes, such as P2P and O2C.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement best practices in financial management.
• Support clients in performance management, including the design and implementation of KPIs and dashboards.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for client leadership.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants on financial analysis and project execution.
• Collaborate effectively with client finance teams and other stakeholders.
