Job summary

Pro Tem is seeking a Field Service and Sales Representative based in Johannesburg, South Africa. This role involves working directly on vacuum and overpressure equipment while fostering business growth for Busch-Pfeiffer by providing superior technical solutions to clients.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical qualifications, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or Millwright trade, and experience in selling industrial equipment across various markets like Food Processing and Automotive.

Qualifications

• Preference to technical qualifications such as Electrical Eng ND, Mechanical Eng ND, Mechatronics Eng ND or Millwright trade.
• Experience in end-user repairs and/or technical knowledge of vacuum pumps, blowers, water pumps, compressors, and gauges.
• A strong background in sales for industrial markets like Food Processing, Automotive, and Pharma.

Responsibilities

• Field service and sales representative on vacuum and overpressure equipment at the customer site.
• Grow the Busch-Pfeiffer business while in contact with customers by providing excellent technical solutions.
• Look for opportunities to increase sales for technical products.
