Placements24 seeks a highly experienced Field Service Engineer to provide on-site support for industrial equipment in and around Nelspruit. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and carry out preventative maintenance to ensure reliable operation for our clients in Mpumalanga.

The role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, with the ability to travel extensively within the Nelspruit service area and document all service activities accurately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role servicing industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Proficiency reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic software.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial equipment on client sites.
• Perform diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical, electrical, and software-related faults.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections and service calls.
• Provide technical expertise and support to clients, offering solutions and guidance for equipment operation and care.
• Accurately document all service activities, repairs, and findings in the service reporting system.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to address customer needs and provide feedback for product improvement.
