Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic for our Benoni, Gauteng facility. You will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure airworthiness and operational readiness, working hands-on in a team environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, strong knowledge of aircraft systems, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of aircraft systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine repair actions.
• Service and repair engines, airframes and components.
• Interpret manuals and maintenance instructions.
• Carry out routine checks and preventive maintenance.
