Job summary

CaterWize in Cape Town is seeking a motivated sales and customer service specialist to drive high-volume inbound enquiries across WhatsApp, web chat and social channels. You will convert enquiries into sales by understanding needs, preparing quotations, and following up on opportunities while delivering outstanding service.

You’ll handle order processing, invoicing and support Takealot and Amazon platforms as needed, reporting to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in customer service or online sales support.
Experience with Respond.io or similar CRM/chat platforms.
Exposure to Takealot, Amazon, or other e-commerce backends is advantageous.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound enquiries across CaterWize’s omni-channel platforms and convert to sales.
Convert enquiries into sales by understanding customer requirements, recommending products, preparing quotations and invoices, and following up on opportunities.
Deliver professional, timely and customer-focused communication across all digital channels.
Provide product information, images, links and order updates while maintaining service standards.
Ensure all enquiries and sales leads are acted upon promptly and no lead is unattended.
Process online orders, coordinate deliveries, courier bookings and order fulfilment.
Monitor orders and inventory to ensure efficient fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Support sales administration and month-end activities as required.
