Placements24 is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to contribute to offshore projects based in or near Paarl. You will design, specify, install, and operate subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, pipelines, and control systems.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in subsea engineering within oil and gas, with strong project management and communication skills to support operations from the Paarl region.
Qualifications
- Experience designing subsea production equipment (trees, manifolds, components).
- Ability to develop procedures for offshore installation and construction.
- Experience with risk assessments for subsea designs and operations.
- Strong communication with vendors, contractors and clients.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify subsea production equipment including trees and manifolds.
- Develop installation procedures and oversee offshore construction activities.
- Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for subsea systems.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and clients to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues with existing subsea facilities and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for subsea engineering.
