Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Subsea Engineer to join a fully remote, offshore-focused team. The role centers on design, analysis, and management of subsea production systems to ensure integrity and optimal performance in challenging offshore environments.

You will collaborate with a global team of engineers, project managers, and technicians to conceptualize and support field developments from a home office, contributing to cutting-edge subsea projects and efficient resource

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of subsea engineering experience in offshore oil and gas.
• Proficiency in subsea equipment design and analysis; CAD/FEA experience.
• Knowledge of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and subsea fluid transport.
• Experience with API and ISO standards for subsea systems.
• Ability to work in remote setting and manage complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and specify subsea production equipment including wellheads, trees, manifolds, pipelines.
• Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity, fluid dynamics, and thermal analysis.
• Develop and review specifications, procedures, and risk assessments for subsea operations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction.
• Provide technical support during offshore installation, commissioning, and operation.
• Stay current with subsea technology and industry best practices.
