Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager based in Bloemfontein to lead onshore support for offshore campaigns. You will oversee critical construction and installation activities, manage offshore logistics, and ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery across diverse teams and vessels.

The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Marine background with 10+ years in offshore construction, including 5+ years in leadership, and strong knowledge of IMCA/IMO regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years in offshore construction and installation with 5+ years in management or supervision.
• Experience with offshore structures, pipelines, subsea equipment, and renewables installations.
• Knowledge of offshore safety regulations (IMCA/IMO).
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee offshore construction and installation projects with emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule.
• Develop offshore execution plans and procedures.
• Lead offshore crews including supervisors, technicians, and vessel crews.
• Ensure SHEQ compliance and safety regulations across sites.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering and marine operations.
