Placements24 is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead a sales team in Upington, Northern Cape. The role balances strategic planning with field engagement to drive market share across a diverse FMCG portfolio.

The successful candidate will develop plans, manage distributors, and partner with marketing on campaigns, while delivering sustained revenue growth in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience in FMCG with leadership experience.
• Track record of regional sales strategy development and target achievement.
• Strong relationship skills with distributors, wholesalers and retailers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a regional sales team to meet Upington targets.
• Develop regional plans, forecasts and budgets aligned with company goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key distributors and retailers.
• Analyze performance data, identify trends and take corrective actions.
• Conduct market visits to identify opportunities and monitor competitors.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and product launches.
