Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Non-Profit Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Benoni, Gauteng office. You will lead facilities, IT, HR administration and office operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to nonprofit requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proven track record of managing diverse operational functions, including facilities, IT, and administration.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business software.
• Knowledge of HR administration and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in vendor management and negotiation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, relevant to the Gauteng region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the organization's daily operations, including facilities management, IT, human resources administration, and general office administration.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the organization's budget for operational expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.
• Supervise and provide guidance to administrative staff, reception, and support personnel.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of office equipment, technology infrastructure, and communication systems.
• Oversee procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
• Manage office space, including leases, maintenance, and security.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations.
• Support the HR function in areas such as recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee records.
• Develop and maintain operational reports for senior management and the board.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment for all staff in Benoni .
