This role involves 24/7 network surveillance, incident detection, and initial response to ensure service continuity for users across the Eastern Cape and beyond.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a NOC environment or IT support role.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, system performance, and infrastructure health.
• Identify, diagnose, and respond to network alerts and incidents.
• Document all network events and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Escalate issues to senior engineers as needed.
• Communicate with internal teams during outages or degradations.
