Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a vigilant NOC Analyst in Centurion, Gauteng. The role focuses on monitoring network health, diagnosing issues, and rapid incident response to ensure uninterrupted service for a broad customer base.

This position requires strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and the ability to work under pressure. You will handle alerts, document actions, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to refine NOC procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in a NOC or IT support role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance using NOC tools and dashboards.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network and system issues promptly.
• Respond to network alerts and incidents per procedures.
• Perform initial troubleshooting for outages, performance issues and security incidents.
• Document all events, actions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers during incident resolution.
• Contribute to development of NOC procedures and documentation.
• Participate in shift work to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Proactively identify network risks and propose preventive measures.
