Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Midrand is seeking a DC Dispatch Controller (Night Shift) to support the Dispatch Department and ensure accurate stock control, FIFO processing and on-time deliveries within the pharmacy’s distribution network.

You will work on night shifts, verify DLS totals, coordinate clerks, manage discrepancies, and uphold company standards while maintaining security and accuracy across all cross-dock activities.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric as minimum requirement.
• Strong communication in English and ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy of the physical quantity checks versus the DLS quantity balance and are 100% correct.
• Manage the process flow within the Dispatch Department and applying the FIFO principle to aged stock for processing, as per Dis-Chem standard and operational requirements.
• Adhere to and deliver against shift specific targets with a high level of accuracy.
• Removal of wrong store stock as well as Hu query stock to Penalty Area.
• Ensure that Dispatch clerks, are not held up and are attended to timeously.
• Print, Verify DLS and hand to Dispatch Clerks.
• Prevent and act on security or risk issues and ensure that risks are dealt with
• Analyze and interpret any shrinkage indicators and act accordingly.
• Ensure that all cross dock and inter branch invoices are recorded and scanned according to invoice
