Job summary

Pedros Chicken Paarl invites you to join our brand-new store opening team. You will oversee daily restaurant and take-away operations, ensure quality standards, manage stock and ordering, and uphold PEDROS SOPs from day one.

You’ll lead staff, drive sales and profitability, handle customer service, scheduling, training, and compliance with health and safety rules, while building a strong, collaborative store culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years restaurant/fast-food management experience required.
• GAAP knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of restaurant/take-away.
• Ensure quality standards and PEDROS SOPs are followed.
• Manage stock control, purchasing, and orders.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service levels.
• Maximise profitability and meet sales/GP targets; motivate staff.
• Manage staff, discipline, and rosters; drive team performance.
• Work within a team and push store momentum forward.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures daily.
• Lead marketing activities and promotions at store level.
• Manage customer service relations and timely complaint resolution.
• Lead training and staff development; hold regular meetings.
• Recruitment and performance evaluation of staff.
