Placements24 is seeking a vigilant Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our remote operations team supporting a large telecoms network. You will monitor performance, respond to alerts, and help maintain the reliability and availability of critical infrastructure.

This fully remote role requires strong troubleshooting, calm under pressure, and clear communication with customers and engineers. You will document incidents and resolutions, perform routine checks, and contribute to ongoing

About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join their remote operations team supporting their extensive telecoms network. In this critical role, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring network performance, identifying potential issues, and responding to alerts to ensure optimal service delivery. This fully remote position requires a sharp analytical mind, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You will contribute directly to maintaining the reliability and availability of our network infrastructure, playing a key part in our commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure and systems 24/7 using state-of-the-art NOC tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve network outages, performance degradation, and security incidents in a timely manner.
• Escalate critical issues to senior engineers or relevant teams, providing clear and concise information.
• Perform routine checks and proactive maintenance tasks to prevent service disruptions.
• Document all network events, troubleshooting steps, and resolution actions in the incident management system.
• Respond to customer-reported issues and provide first-level support for network-related inquiries.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a NOC environment or a similar IT support role, preferably within telecoms .
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP , DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Ability to analyze network traffic and performance data to identify anomalies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective during high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
