Placements24 is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician to join the Installation & Maintenance team serving Mahikeng and the North West region. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain essential network infrastructure, including cabling, switches, routers, and access points.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, reading network diagrams, and using diagnostic tools. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Network Infrastructure Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of LAN/WAN concepts, TCP/IP, network protocols, and hardware.
• Proficiency in using network diagnostic tools such as cable testers, multimeters, and protocol analyzers.
• Ability to read and interpret network diagrams and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test network cabling according to industry standards.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
