Placements24 is recruiting a National Sales Director to lead the national sales operation in Cape Town. You will shape and execute the national sales strategy, drive revenue growth and market share, and manage key distributors and retailers across channels.

The role demands extensive FMCG leadership experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to travel nationwide while delivering results in a competitive beverage market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with 5+ years in senior sales management within FMCG.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market share nationwide.
• Strong leadership, coaching and motivation skills.
• Deep understanding of the beverage/FMCG market in South Africa.
• Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience managing complex distribution networks and key accounts.
• Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools; willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national sales strategy to meet revenue targets.
• Lead and develop a national sales team for high performance.
• Manage the sales budget and resource allocation.
• Build strong relationships with national accounts, distributors and retailers.
• Analyze sales data and market trends for opportunities.

• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
• Drive continuous improvements in sales processes and metrics.
