Job summary

HRCorp is seeking a skilled IT Technician to own day-to-day health of client and internal IT environments from user workstations to servers and network links. The role is full-time and based on site in Alberton, Johannesburg.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on IT support, relevant certifications, and strong AD/365, Windows Server, and networking knowledge. Valid driver's license and transport are required; MSP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support experience.
• Relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Matric is essential; IT qualification/diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Windows OS on workstations and servers.
• Administer AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services and user lifecycle.
• Deploy, patch and support Microsoft 365 and line-of-business software.
• Manage backups and server performance, capacity and health.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, WiFi and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/ISP circuits and maintain asset documentation.
• Log, prioritise and resolve tickets within SLA and document procedures.
