IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to manage the setup, ingestion and governance of external data streams in clinical trials. You will work with data providers to define tsDTAs, map data to SDTM standards, and ensure compliant, timely data transfer for central monitoring and analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years’ clinical data experience, and strong communication in English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing data in support of clinical research.
• Experience working with external data e.g., Safety Lab, PK, ECG, etc.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements.
• Experience working on clinical trials.
• Experience working in diverse, cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Aufgaben

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Assess external data collection requirements per protocol and plan setup activities.
• Liaise with key data stakeholders to define data transfer and ingestion requirements.
• Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
• Develop trial-specific data transfer agreements documenting study requirements.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study needs and compliance.
• Coordinate with external data providers to align tsDTA.
• Translate concepts into data mapping guidance for clinical programmers.
• UAT data transfers for accuracy against Data Transfer Agreements.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into the Clinical Data Repository (CDR).
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams and resolve issues.
