Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist for External Data (Remote/Homebased) to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will work with data providers and stakeholders to ensure compliant data transfer and accurate data structures across multicenter studies.

Strong SDTM knowledge and GCP/ICH familiarity are required, along with English communication skills. Responsibilities include creating tsDTA, overseeing data transfer frequencies, and performing UAT to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Computer Science).
Minimum 3 years' experience managing data in support of clinical research.
Experience with external data sources (Safety Lab, ECG, biomarkers, etc.).
Experience developing data transfer agreements and working in multicentric clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Define, set up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol.
Plan external data stream setup to meet study start-up timelines.
Liaise with data stakeholders on data transfer, ingestion and structure.
Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements (tsDTA) documenting study requirements and methods.
Ensure data transfer frequencies meet data review and reporting needs.
Coordinate with external data providers to align tsDTA and data transfer.
Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for Clinical programmers.
Perform UAT of test data transfers to ensure data accuracy.
