Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trials. You will liaise with data providers, translate concepts into data mapping guidance, and ensure compliant data transfer and ingestion into the trial data ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in support of clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources (ECG, imaging, EHR, biomarkers) in a study setting.
• Experience developing data transfer agreements and working with data providers.

Responsibilities

• Define, set up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol requirements.
• Engage data stakeholders to establish data transfer, ingestion and structure needs.
• Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
• Ensure data transfers meet study timelines and regulatory compliance.
