Placements24 in Gauteng seeks a dedicated Motor Claims Specialist to manage motor vehicle claims end-to-end, from notification to settlement. You will assess liability and quantum, appoint repairers, negotiate settlements, investigate complex or disputed claims, and ensure compliance with policy conditions and regulatory requirements within a collaborative team.

You will leverage claims management systems and MS Office, maintain thorough documentation, and provide outstanding customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically in handling motor insurance claims.
• Strong understanding of motor vehicle repair procedures and parts pricing.
• Knowledge of relevant South African road and motor vehicle legislation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and make sound judgments.
• Proficiency in using claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A relevant industry qualification (e.g., NQF Level 4 in Short-Term Insurance) is highly desirable.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet performance targets.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to conduct site inspections when necessary.
