The role requires deep industry knowledge, a proven recruiting track record in mining, and strong relationship-building skills. Relocation to Port Elizabeth is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/geology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in recruitment with mining focus.
• Strong sourcing and networking within the resources sector.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit specialized mining and resources roles.
• Develop understanding of mining industry landscape and trends.
• Build and manage talent pipelines for the sector.
• Engage with clients to understand technical and cultural requirements.
• Manage full recruitment cycle from initial contact to placement.
• Conduct thorough candidate assessments of technical skills.
• Participate in business development to expand the client base.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
