Job summary

Sasol in Sasolburg, South Africa, is seeking a skilled Foreman X2 to oversee engineering maintenance within the mining operations. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate maintenance strategies and keep production targets aligned with QCDSM principles.

You will manage budgets, downtime, safety governance and continuous improvement, while mentoring teams and ensuring compliance with SOPs and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate / N3 with Mathematics, Physical Science and English.
• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant working experience.
• Strong planning, communication and safety governance skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and carry out engineering maintenance strategies and overhaul plans on a day to day basis to meet KPI targets and decide on replacement/repair actions.
• Manage maintenance cost vs R/t in the appointed area and the maintenance budget.
• Ensure equipment availability by effectively managing downtime, shifts, MTTF and MTTR.
