Placements24 near Kimberley is seeking a Project Engineer focused on Mining Infrastructure. You will manage infrastructure projects from conception to completion, including power, water, and access roads, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and within budget.

You will develop scopes, budgets, execution plans, coordinate with internal teams and contractors, oversee site construction, monitor progress and mitigate risks within a robust PM framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of project engineering experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects (power distribution, water systems, civil works).
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera for scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations in mining.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for mining infrastructure projects, from conception to completion.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and detailed execution plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
