Qualifications

• 18 months’ experience in conventional mining.
• National Certificate: Electro-Mechanics Mining and Minerals (Mechanical).
• Level 2: Grade 10 and National Certificates level 2 Trade and Occupational Qualifications Services.

Responsibilities

• SHE Supervision: Maintain SHE standards within the work environment.
• Monitor compliance to SHE requirements in the work environment.
• Apply and comply to SHE standards in the work environment Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in risk assessments and take appropriate action.
• Address workplace hazards and risks SHEQ Investigations.
• Identify cost saving and cash conservation opportunities.
• Safeguard company assets (fixed and working capital).
• Perform routine maintenance and repair by diagnosing faults as instructed by Foreman.
• Provide fitter services, e.g. maintain vent doors, tips, conveyor belts.
• Perform boilermaking services, e.g. welding and cutting.
• Maintain and monitor performance to ensure established goals and expectations are met.
