Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical design, with heavy industrial/mining equipment preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor or Creo; experience with FEA.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for mining equipment.
• Create detailed drawings, BOMs, specs using CAD.
• Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure production-ready designs.
• Oversee testing and validation of prototypes and units.
• Investigate field failures and implement design modifications.
• Maintain design records and documentation.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technology.
