You will ensure production targets are met, manage budgets, mentor supervisors, and ensure compliance with mining legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in mine operations management.
• At least 5 years in supervisory or managerial roles.
• Experience managing large-scale open-pit or underground mining operations.
• Strong knowledge of mine planning, scheduling, and production optimization.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production plans to achieve targets for the Tembisa mine.
• Manage daily mining operations: drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling.
• Oversee maintenance and deployment of mining equipment.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions.
• Manage operational budgets and cost improvements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and operators.
