Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Mine Operations Manager to lead our client's large Kimberley mining operations, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable execution.

You will oversee production, maintenance, technical services and safety, mentor senior managers, develop budgets, and drive improvements in cost, productivity and safety across open pit and/or underground assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• MBA or equivalent management qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive mining operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Proven experience managing large, complex mining operations (open pit and/or underground).
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• In-depth knowledge of mining regulations, best practices and technologies.
• Excellent financial acumen and budget management experience.
