Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team on a fully remote basis, focusing on the Gauteng region. The role requires engaging with KOLs, healthcare professionals and researchers to share critical scientific data about innovative oncology therapies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD/PharmD/PhD) or equivalent.
• Experience as MSL or scientific affairs in pharma, preferably oncology.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and healthcare providers in oncology.
• Present complex scientific and clinical data related to oncology drugs and therapies.
• Provide medical information to support clinical trial activities and investigator-initiated studies.
• Gather insights from KOLs and relay them to internal medical and research teams.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses and network with experts.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) in a relevant life science discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar scientific affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in oncology .
• In-depth knowledge of oncology, clinical trial design, and the pharmaceutical drug development process.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a remote territory within Gauteng.
